周末，阴沉沉的天气，冷嗖嗖的，不时还下雨。英国冠状病毒感染已开始失控，至今，因此而死亡的病人已累计达35人。由于检测试剂不够，感染的实际人数不详。欧洲大陆已经是大爆发，感染，死亡人数剧增。意大利，西班牙都已封城封国，许多别的欧洲国家也关闭了和邻国的通道。美国中断了欧洲，英国的航线。除了中国已缓解，全球告急！
英国政府的应对稍有不同，虽然隔离追踪病人很严，但班照上，学校没关，大型集会，体育赛事也只是前几天才开始叫停。这几天政府用各种渠道，告戒人们要少出门，尤其是老人。的确，没有有效的预防，治疗，能做的只有少出门，勤洗手。不知道是不是真的有科学依据，西方国家都没有采纳中国的经验，不太重视戴口罩，尤其是英国，没有要求出门戴口罩。
大多数的人似乎不太在乎会感染上病毒。年轻人说自己的抵抗力强，得了也没什么。老年人也不太担心，每年流感不是也要死很多人吗，生死本就无常。这大概是政府最初的“群免疫”抗病毒的依据之一。
尽管如此，还是有些大难临头的气氛。人们的恐惧不一定是病毒本身，更担心是被隔离，缺乏日常生活必用品。这个周末，超市里人头攒动，不少人在抢购，除了一些能长期保存的食品，手纸，洗手液脱销。其实按理都没必要，只是人们不知所措而已。
医院已在为大流行做准备，常规手术，门诊可能会停。对经济的影响也是巨大的，世界股市都大跌，旅游业，航空业重创，接下来的，大概就会是世界经济危机。
待在家里看电视，除了新闻，大部分报道也都是和冠状病毒有关。不过也有点别的，刚看了依经典小说拍的电影《傲慢与偏见》。
